Morgiana is a 1972 Czechoslovak Gothic drama film directed by Juraj Herz, based on a novel by Alexander Grin, Jessie and Morgiana. The film explores themes of jealousy, betrayal, and the dark side of familial relationships as it follows two sisters, Klara and Viktoria, whose relationship deteriorates after their father's death. Viktoria, jealous of Klara's inheritance and her romantic involvement with a man she loves, plots to murder her sister using a slow-acting poison.
