Konga is a British-American science fiction horror film released in 1961. Directed by John Lemont, it features Michael Gough as Dr. Charles Decker, a botanist who returns from Africa with a baby chimpanzee named Konga. The story follows Dr. Decker, who discovers a serum that can enlarge plants and animals. He uses this serum on Konga, transforming the chimp into a giant ape to eliminate his enemies. As Konga grows, he wreaks havoc in London, leading to a climactic confrontation with the military.
